Through the North Ayrshire Heritage Centre, NAC supports this project with assistance and advice.


 
Inverclyde Council

Through the Cultural Services department, Inverclyde provides support for their section of the walk.


Irvine Burns Club

Established in 1826, Irvine Burns Club is documenting the southern sections and co-ordinating the route details.


Greenock Burns Club

Established in 1801, Greenock Burns Club is assisting with the northern sections of the Way.

Ayrshire Coastal Path (a trust: www.ayrshirecoastalpath.org) have 40 volunteers who regularly walk the Ayrshire Coastal Path - the trust income depends on the sale of Dr Jimmy Begg's book, pictured above, which we recommend to walkers of the John Galt Way stages A to E.
